The island of Mandra has a foundation of fossil coral, but much of the stone is limestone that was formed by the disintegration of coral reefs and seashells. The land is primarily either rocky or mangrove swamp. Low scrub covers much of the surface area. Some of the southern island is filled with tropical trees and fertile ground.
Mandra has two seasons, Summer and winter. Summer the temperatures reach 80-110 degree weather, with 80%-100% humidity. Winter the temperatures run 60-80 degree weather with 60%-90% humidity. Mandra is interesting since it rains some times two to three times a day, and is sunny directly after and feels like no rain had fallen at all.
The Mandran culture collects a little from many places, since it has been conquered many times.
